We had the Calamari, very lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. My wife and I split the Michele's Meatlovers Special, delicious and a generous portion, especially for lunch. My son had the spaghetti and meatballs, enough for an adult.
I went there a while back and got food poisoning. I love Italian food and was hoping that it was a freak accident. I went last night, Sunday evening and it wasn't too busy. We didn't get our food for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Come to find out that the waitress forgot to submit the ticket. Then the food wasn't as described and was undercooked. I wasn't even comped but was given 1/2 piece of cake. I told them that I'd never be back.
Roma's Italian Restaurant
I had the chicken parmesan. Almost too much to eat but I managed. My brother in law got a signature dish with shrimp and said it was the best he has ever eaten.
They seated us in the middle of nowhere and forgot about us. My eggplant parm was good, but they didn't include the pasta I ordered with it. My husband's chicken had some hard object in it that he didn't care to dissect or complain about. Maybe this was just an isolated incident, but my husband swears he won't go back.
If you're in or near Sulphur Springs this is the place to eat. The only bad thing I can say is that the outside of the building is a little run down, but one you step inside the atmosphere and the food steal the show.
I wish I lived closer.
The food was very good and the service was excellent and friendly. The outside of the building was not inviting but don't let that stop you from enjoying the best Italian food in Sulfur Springs. We will be going back for a second time.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. They were generous with their amazing bread. We will be coming back!
