Prior to an emergency for our 5 yr old English Springer Spanial we used another vet in Sulphur Springs and were basically satisfied. However when we had a life threatening emergency out regular vet of some 20 years was nonresponsive to our crisis. Dr Black, who didn't know us responded immediately and performed emergency surgery until 2am and i have no doubt at all that we would have lost our pet had he not stepped up and provided excellent care. Although we left untold messages with our then current vet, there was never even pne follow up call to check on our dog afterwards. Needless to say we have permanently changed vets and couldn't be more pleased with the quality of care put pets are now recieving at Broadway. We will be forever grateful to Dr Black.

Needed to take my 2yr. old kitten in to a vet ASAP was able to get an appointment that day. We found out she had pyometra and needed emergency surgery. We explained that we were three days out from our next paycheck but we can try to grunge up something just to get her well. To which Dr. Black replied "write me a post dated check and we will get it taken care of." We were ABSOLUTELY grateful that he was more concerned about the well being of an animal than over the logistics of money. He even stayed after hours to do her surgery, once he was done he called us around 8 or 9 P.M to let us know it went well and when to pick her up. Dr. Black and his staff went above and beyond our expectations and have made him our permanent veterinarian for all of our fur babies.
Very friendly vets and staff. They really care for your pets and are knowledgeable about how to treat them. I would recommend this place if you really care about your pet companions.
The people & vets that work here are the BEST!! Been taking our furkidz there for 20 years, & you won't find a kinder, more knowledgeable group anywhere! They understand you & your pet's needs. They are sympathetic. They give detailed explanations, & make sure you understand what's going on. They're extremely reasonable with billing. Very respectful, & take their responsibilities very seriously. They're the best!
