1 time there, sucked, 2nd time water shut off and stayed off, 3rd the hallway wreaked of WEED, noise level was bad all 4 times... horrible place, days inn across the street is almost the same price and way nicer, how is ECONO still open. I stay in sulphur 3-5 times a month, I currently stay at the Hampton inn, its the best for me and my circumstance, but if you are tight on money but don't want to stay in a rundown place, go to Days inn and suites for 5bucks more.
Literally the worst “shack” of a hotel I’ve ever stayed at, just needed a place to lay my head and I didn’t even find that, the beds were dirty, sheets inside out, all the furniture was falling apart. When we went to check out our name wasn’t even on the customer list, which was extremely sketchy, you would almost have to try to make this place this bad, never even considering an econo lodge again.
Pissed off and I hope you dont make the same mustake as I have. The people that post good things work their. My parents came up due to Hurricane Harvey. I looked at the pictures read the comments and told my parents about the place, so they booked the room. They got their toilets were Broken water going every were, nothing like pictures, and they told them they been having problems and this is not just their motel room. They said the water is bad and not to drink the coffee. Beds were unconfertable and the rooms smelt bad. My parent refused to stay another night and went and stayed at a friend's house for the remainder, but when my dad checked his credit card bill they charged him twice and twice as much and they stayed for 1 night. Never Again Will I Refer any of my family and friends here.
When you wake up to roaches crawling on you it's time to leave. I understand that sometimes when you pay cheaper prices you get what you pay for, but really. The smoke detection device in the room had been tampered with, there was a vagina, yes a vagina, drawn on the back of the door. When I informed the front desk I was given a sorry. So, yes I will post, and will try to warn people of this true "Roach Motel." Please save your money, or spend a little more. They don't care about their guest, just about getting the rooms.
Smoking rooms on 1st floor..pet friendly ...nice and clean for the price..good bed ... Coffee maker..frig..Iron/board..blow dryer..It was cheaper than the others and that's with an added nightly pet deposit. Has a door leading outside ...truck parking at your front door. We will definitely be going back. Rooms also have flat screen TV and Wifi
